Healthy teeth that have yellowed with age or stained from coffee, red wine or smoking usually respond well to whitening. Whether you choose Philips Zoom in-chair laser whitening system, or a more economical home whitening kit, the effect is equally good. Top- up gel can be supplied to maintain the result.
Philips has now released a newly formulated Zoom in-chair whitening that meets the new EU regulations on tooth whitening. This new gel gives excellent results and benefits from reduced sensitivity over the previous formulation. Best results can be achieved in one appointment with 4 x 15 minute in-chair applications, using the Zoom power light to activate the gel. Then we recommend boosting and maintaining the result with our home whitening kit that is included in the price!
Our home whitening kit comes with custom made trays for accuracy and comfort of application. Gel is placed in the trays which are then worn for up to an hour a day. Our specially designed trays are particularly effective at holding the whitening gel exactly where it needs to be to achieve the very best whitening results possible whilst preventing gel from leaking into the mouth.
Excellent results are usually achieved in about 2 weeks. We supply plenty of gel to complete treatment and to maintain the results for months to come. Further gel can be supplied as required.
We can straighten teeth using orthodontics or porcelain and composite veneers. Only mild to moderate crowding or protrusion can be aligned with veneers alone, but orthodontics can straighten any teeth, however severely misaligned.
A veneer is a new front surface for a tooth, custom made from porcelain. Veneers are extremely versatile and can be used to align crowded or protruding teeth, close gaps or lighten tooth colour. There strength and appearance rivals that of natural teeth and they are used to make long lasting changes to the smile.
Porcelain crowns are used to restore severly broken down teeth. Most crowns are made of porcelain, like veneers, and look every bit as natural, leaving no blackline at the gum level as seen with some traditional crowns.
Bonding is process in which an enamel- like material is applied to a tooth’s surface to restore minor chips and close small gaps, often completed in one appointment.
There are a number of tooth coloured amalgam-free filling materials available. The most suitable options for your teeth are discussed and recommended during your first appointment.
Missing teeth can be replaced with implants, bridgework or dentures.
We are proud to introduce a new cutting edge procedure, the Inman Aligner. The Inman Aligner can straighten front teeth in a fraction of the time of conventional orthodontics. The Inman Aligner is a removable appliance that applies continuous gentle pressure which quickly aligns front teeth. Minor crowding can be corrected in 8 weeks.
